WN Lindsays Grain Dryer and Main Distribution Upgrade

Due to the increased demands for barley from the Scotch Whisky industry, WN Lindsays have undertaken a major upgrade of their Fife Keith grain store. Working closely with Scottish Hydro Electric, a major upgrade of the sites main electrical distribution system was undertaken to accommodate increased energy requirements for a new grain drier which was to be installed. A bespoke Schneider Electric distribution panel was designed and installed by Advanced Electrics Ltd, along with new sub-main cabling and equipment where required. As well as this, all new grain handling equipment and electrical systems for the Drier were installed and commissioned in time for the summer’s barley ‘hairst’.
